Fire bags, moldable firestop sealants, fire collars: Because Expandable graphite It has anti-damage capability at high temperatures and a high expansion rate, making it an effective expandable flame retardant material in the composition of fire bags, moldable firestop sealants, and fire collars. Used for fire stopping in buildings (e.g., sealing holes through which building pipes, cables, wires, gas pipes, ducts pass).
Application in coatings: Adding fine particles of expandable graphite to ordinary coatings can produce flame-retardant and anti-static coatings with good results, improving their high-temperature resistance and fire performance. The large amount of lightweight non-combustible carbon layer formed during a fire can effectively block heat radiation to the substrate, effectively protecting it. In addition, since graphite is a good electrical conductor, the resulting coating can prevent the accumulation of static charges, used in oil storage tanks to achieve a dual effect of fire prevention and anti-static.
Fireproof board, fireproof paper, anti-corrosion and high-temperature resistant board: Lined on a metal base with Expandable graphite layer, with a carbonized adhesive layer between the expandable graphite layer and the metal base layer. The expandable graphite layer is covered with a carbonized protective layer, offering anti-corrosion, high-temperature, and high-pressure resistance. It also withstands thermal shock, can be used normally at low temperatures, is not afraid of rapid cooling and heating, and has an excellent thermal conductivity. The operating temperature is -100 to 2,000 ℃, with a wide range of applications, easy manufacturing, and lower cost. Additionally, graphite paper made by high-temperature expansion and pressing of expandable graphite is also used in fireproof and thermal insulation applications.
